Mulhouse Zoo is home to 1200 animals of 190 different species, most of which are rare. The protection, conservation and even reintroduction of rare species into their original environment is one of the park's main objectives.
Exceptional plant collections
Covering 25 hectares, the park is home to a magnificent landscape composed of 3500 species and varieties of plants. Renowned for its quality, the park was awarded the « Jardin remarquable » label in 2005.
Stroll through the different themed gardens and admire the various varieties of peonies, irises, rhododendrons, daylilies, hydrangeas, perennial geraniums, bulbous plants in spring and dahlias in autumn.

The zoological and botanical park is open every day:
- May to August: from 9am to 7pm
- September: from 9am to 6pm
- October to November: from 9am to 5pm
- December: from 10am to 4pm
